Photoelectric light curves of V 1022 Ophiuchi in B and V are presented to confirm that it is a W UMa type eclipsing binary with a very short period of 0.2396 d. Similarity of minima depths indicate that V 1022 Oph is an ordinary W UMa system, with a color at maximum of approximately B-V = 0.8, which is a little bluer than other known systems with similar periods. The shape of the primary minimum suggests total eclipses.
