Photometric properties of subdwarfs, metal-deficient giants, metallic-line and peculiar A-type stars in the joint Vilnius-Geneva photometric system are investigated. It is shown that this system preserves the properties of the original Vilnius and Geneva systems in isolation of peculiar types of stars and in determination of their metallicities.
