The unusually large numbers of WR stars, the numerous shells of ionized
material and the supersonic motions observed in NGC 604 are discussed
within the theory of interstellar wind-driven bubbles. It is shown, that
the kinetic energies involved can be easily supplied by the strong mass
loss phenomena of the WR stars.
