High-resolution observations of the nucleus of M 33 made at Pic-du-Midi Observatory show the structure of the nucleus: it appears stellar in its center and is surrounded by a faint nebulosity extending no further than 3 arcsec. Its profile follows quite reasonably a 1/4 power law with an effective radius of 1.4 arcsec. Fits with isothermal laws give a very small core radius, probably not significant at a resolution of 0.05-0.10 arcsec. The total magnitude of the nucleus is 14.50 plus or minus 0.10. A velocity dispersion of 30 km/sec gives a maximum mass of 6,000,000 solar masses and a maximum mass/luminosity ratio of 3.25. The value of the velocity rotation v equals 18 km/sec at 2.8 arcsec from the center found by Boulesteix (1979) leads to a mass/luminosity ratio of about 0.7.
