The low mass X-ray binary X 1822-371 was detected in the field-of-view of IBIS during the three IN- TEGRAL observations of the black hole candidate X 1743-322. We present preliminary spectra and folded lightcurves of the IBIS data from this source in the range 15-40 keV. X 1822-371 is outside the JEM- X field-of-view during these observations so there is no complementary data in the soft X-ray region. The spectra and lightcurves obtained by INTEGRAL are compared to those from previous observations, par- ticularly the observation in September 1997 by Bep- poSAX. The lightcurve is similar to that observed previously, while the preliminary spectrum is slightly softer.
