The dynamics of 14 spiral galaxies, 11 of which belong to the Virgo cluster, and the influence of the environment on the rotation curve and mass distribution properties are discussed. Pseudoperiodic perturbation to the velocity field of NGC 4192, NGC 4321, NGC 4450, and NGC 4501 is detected. In the two-dimensional H-alpha images of NGC 4321 this corresponds also to an asymmetry of the light distribution. With the exclusion of the NGC 4192 rotation curve which has a type II mass distribution, the remaining galaxies in Virgo are better described by a type III mass distribution. Together with data from Burstein and Rubbin (1985), this shows that the effect is unrelated to the sample population. NGC 5597 shows an anomalous rotation curve in the central part. On the basis of the data supplemented by the HI rotation curves of Guhathakurta et al. (1988), evidence is found that the outer gradient, OG, of the rotation curve in Virgo spirals is sensitive to the distance from the cluster center, although the data do not contradict conclusions reached by Whitmore et al. (1988).
