The General Catalogue of Photometric Data (GCPD) is an index which indicates the photometric systems in which any star has been measured. It contains information for 165998 stars observed in one or more of the 78 different photometric systems covered and is based on the data published until July 1989. Each record includes the LID identification code and remarks on multiplicity and variability, the 1950 coordinates, a V magnitude in the Johnson scale, and a list of keys corresponding to the photometric systems; 88 percent of the stars brighter than V = 8.05 (39720 stars) have been observed at least in one photometric system.
