It has been shown (Depaquit et al., 1985) that every test to date supports Karlsson's (1971, 1973, 1977) mathematical solution for the periodicity of quasar redshifts being Delta ln(1 + z) = 0.206. In this paper, this periodicity is reinvestigated for different subgroups of quasars. Radio selected quasars were tested in two directions in the sky (RA about 0 h and 12 h). The periodicity Delta ln(1 + z) = 0.206 was confirmed to 99 percent and 96 percent confidence levels, respectively, furnishing strong proof that the peaks cannot be due to the color- or emission-line selection effects. When the 0 h and 12 h regions were combined, the confidence level increased to 99.97 percent.
