The PTF (ATEL #1964; http://www.astro.caltech.edu/ptf/) reports the discovery of a new supernova, PTF10htz. The supernova was discovered on April 03 UT at RA(J2000) = 13:08:37.52 and DEC(J2000) = +79:47:13.2 at a magnitude of 20.5 in R-band (calibrated with respect to the USNO catalog) in the galaxy CGCG 352-058 (z=0.035). The supernova was not detected down to mag 21 in previous PTF images taken during 2009 (3-sigma).
