The outer heliosphere is influenced in numerous ways by changes at the Sun. Changes in solar wind properties such as the magnetic field strength and plasma density are shown to persist outward into the heliosheath. The location of the transition region from fast to slow solar wind is affected by the high heliospheric current sheet (HCS) tilts in this solar minimum. The coronal hole locations and the HCS tilt greatly affect the observations at Voyager 2 (V2). The decrease of the solar wind pressure causes the termination shock to move inward about 5 AU by late 2009, putting V2 much deeper within the heliosheath than for a normal solar minimum; we show that the tailward diversion of heliosheath plasma is important at the distance of V2.
