This poster presents the UV continuum emission (in the range from 1400 to 3700 Å) of radio galaxies (with redshift ranging from 0.01 to 0.1 and radio powers ranging from 1025 to 1027 Watts/Hz). The sample of radio galaxies were compiled by searching the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) archives for images taken with the Faint Object Camera (FOC) prior to refurbishment. The UV fluxes shortward of 2300 Å were modeled by assuming a point source (i.e. nuclear) and an extended component. For FRI radio galaxies we detect a point source UV flux only for those FRI galaxies that either have optical jets (6 of 19 FRI's), that are BL Lac objects (4 of 19 FRI's) or are broad line radio galaxies (BLRG's) (1 of 19 FRI's). For FRII's, we detect a point source UV flux only if they are BLRG's (2 of 6 FRII's). The point source contribution is close to 100% for FRI and FRII BLRG's and for FRI BL Lac objects; it ranges from 20% to 70% for FRI's with optical jets. These results are broadly consistent with orientation dependent unification models. For the FRI galaxies (including the BL Lac objects) we present a unification diagram that involves the following classes of objects: BL Lac objects with and without optical jets, FRI-BLRG's, FRI-NLRG's with jets and FRI-NLRG's without jets. The UV emission of BL Lacs & BLRG's is dominated by the nucleus, that of FRI-NLRG's with jets shows a nuclear and an extended component and FRI-NLRG's without jets do not show any UV emission.
