The present conference discusses radar studies of Mercury relative to lunar radar results, temperature variations across lunar and Mercury polar region craters, suggestions of plagioclase on Mercury, lunar mappings by the Clementine probe, lunar Aristarchus region imaging spectroscopy, X-ray spectrometry remote exploration of the moon and Mercury, sodium emissions from the moon, and suprathermal sodium on Mercury. Also discussed are Clementine particle measurements in lunar orbit, ion acceleration processes in the terrestrial and Mercury magnetospheres, magnetospheric interactions with the surface of Mercury, time-variable mercury magnetosphere and exosphere phenomena, the Mercury Orbiter Mission, the 'Interhelios' Solar-Mercury Observer investigation, and exploration opportunities offered by the Leda lunar return mission.
