For the analysis of the satellite radial position errors, the perturbing solutions of the satellite radial positions due to the geopotential and its variations, including the zeroth and first order effects in orbital eccentricity, are presented, and a simpler algorithm is proposed. The corresponding distributions of the radial position errors in the time and space domains can be obtained with this method.
