Two metrics that depend only on the x-coordinate are analyzed which correspond to the respective cases where the Kasner indexes are complex or equal. It is demonstrated that the metric with complex Kasner indexes is axisymmetric and may be derived from the Weyl metric. The metric with equal Kasner indexes is shown to describe a strong gravitational wave of zero frequency either in a vacuum or near an infinitely long and thin Kasner-type naked singularity. The analysis indicates that this zero-frequency gravitational wave will pull a test particle toward the singularity or repel the particle, depending upon whether the metric signature is - + + - or - + - -, respectively.
