The AAVSO has been instrumental in the early promotion of amateur-professional collaboration using CCDs as a tool. The AAVSO has sponsored four workshops on the subject and continues to work to promote additional cooperation. Four years of Amateur-AAVSO-Professional corroboration is summarized along with recommendations for future work. Topics include BVRI photometry of Hipparcos Long Period Red Stars, Cataclysmic Variable Outburst Monitoring, and Superhump Characterization During Superoutburst of Dwarf Novae. These results span projects ranging from years to a single night, CCD V magnitudes of 4 to 18, and detection of amplitude variations of 0.015 magnitudes. These projects serve to illustrate the potential of amateur-professional collaboration. It is hoped that these results will stir the imagination of professional astronomers to suggest additional scientifically meaningful projects.
