Hydrogen radio combination lines have been observed toward 35 small (few
arcmin) H II regions with the Arecibo 1000 foot (305 m) telescope.
Twenty-two of these are first detections. A non-LTE analysis is employed
by which physical parameters for the ionized clouds are derived. In
general, the departure from LTE seems small for most H II regions.
