Copernicus scans in the region 1520-1560 A show that for six B0.5 and B0
stars the contribution of the C IV doublet increases with stellar
temperature and higher luminosity. P Cygni profiles are strong in the
spectra of supergiants and weakly visible in one main-sequence star.
