The results from the analysis of observations from the 1984-1985 eastern apparition of the planet Venus are summarized. The methods and instruments used in the observations are described. Results on various topics are reviewed, including the Venusian atmosphere, cusps, cusp-caps, and cusp-bands, the bright limb band, terminator irregularities, the ashen light and other dark-hemisphere phenomena, and estimates of phase and dichotomy. Drawings and photographs of Venus during the apparition are presented.
