A flat-spectrum galaxy has been tentatively identified as lying at a
redshift of 3.38 on the basis of a Ly-alpha line and a Lyman break.
Ultraviolet photometry has confirmed the existence of the break. The
Ly-alpha forest decrement and marginal C IV line observed are consistent
with the present identification.
