Photometry of the extreme helium star BD + 1 deg 4381 which shows light variations with an amplitude of 0.04 mag on a time-scale of about 20 days is presented. Photoelectric observations of BD + 1 deg 4381 are made with the 0.5-m telescope of the South African Astronomical Observatory from May to June in 1984. Mean magnitudes and colors of BD + 1 deg 4381 and of two comparison stars (BD + 2 deg 4257 and BD + 0 deg 4598) obtained from all observations are given in a table. The variations are found to be consistent with radial pulsations.
