Scientific paper
The newly discovered planetary system of the GJ 876 is stabilized by a 2:1 mean-motion resonance. We carried out numerical simulations of the GJ 876 planetary system for several sets of initial epochs, and investigated their stability, since this planetary system is very sensitive to an initial epoch because of a large difference between the osculating elements and the mean elements.
