A 2-deg field surrounding the millisecond pulsar PSR 1937 + 214 has been mapped in the continuum at 1.4 GHz with a beam of 1 x 3 arcmin. The survey, made with the synthesis telescope at the Dominion Radio Astrophysical Observatory, provides a good combination of sky coverage, sensitivity, and resolution to search for emission from any associated supernova remnant of quite large angular size. Several extended emission regions lie in the field, but show no clear link with the pulsar. Observations of 21 small-diameter radio sources in the field are also summarized, but there is no evidence for any of these sources being associated with the pulsar.
