Four galaxies with ejected material in the shape of a rectilinear jet issuing from the nucleus are studied: Markaryan 423, 739, 773, and 984. Based on observations with a 2.6 m telescope, the morphologies and parameters of the galaxies are determined. The nucleus of Markaryan 984 is a Seyfert object of the second type with some signs of linears. One of the two condensations in its jet also has broad emission lines and a flat Balmer decrement. Some characteristic properties of galaxies with jets are discussed.
