The modified Korteweg-de Vries equation possesses a solution in the form of a moving, weak double-layer essentially a solitary wave solution. This modified equation is presently derived for the 'water bag' model of two-beam plasma systems. The propagation velocity of the double layer, which is dependent on system parameters, is presently calculated and discussed.
