A sample of 79 stellar sources has been searched for the 18 cm wavelength OH lines. Seven of the eighteen newly detected OH sources have a stellar origin and the others probably originate from molecular clouds. Five sources were detected in other lines than previously known, and for a number of already known (stellar) OH masers new features were found. The 1612 MHz line of the Mira variable UX Cyg was found to be linearly polarized, though to a lesser extent than the main lines are.
