Scientific paper
An objective grating survey of the dwarf spheroidal galaxies Sculptor,
Carina, Leo I, and Leo II was made with the ESO and CFH telescopes. It
yielded a number of new carbon stars in all these galaxies, more than
doubling the number of identified objects.
