Heiles' Cloud 2 was observed over a ≡1°.5×1°.5 area using the 12CO J = 1-0 line with a high velocity-resolution of 0.1 km s-1. The CO emission extends more widely than the H2CO cloud and the region of the heavy visual extinction. The profiles show heavy saturation of the line all over the area except in the peripheral part, and the kinetic temperature of the cloud was estimated to be (6 - 9)±1K. An integrated intensity map of CO emission shows a ridge of matter on the NE edge of the cloud. The ridge lies on the major axis of TMC 1 and might be formed through cloud-cloud collision between two components of Heiles' Cloud 2.
