The authors present an almost complete survey of the galactic disc in the far-infrared obtained with a balloon-borne instrument. This paper follows an analysis of part of the data dealing with the large scale galactic structure (Caux et al., 1984). Here the complete data set is presented in the form of brightness contour maps. A new procedure has been adapted to separate the sources from the "unresolved galactic component". The authors present a catalogue of the brightest extended sources, and comparisons with the radio continuum at 5 GHz are made. A more detailed discussion of some sources is given and some general properties of extended far-infrared sources are deduced. The properties of the unresolved component show some differences with the corresponding average properties of the sources.
