We present the first comprehensive analysis of the Astro-1 mission Hopkins Ultraviolet Telescope (HUT) spectrum of the Io plasma torus taken in December, 1990. This analysis includes identification of more than 100 lines with signal to noise greater than ~ 2sigma , determination of ion mixing ratios and electron temperature, and comparison of our results with other observations including Voyager UVS, IUE, EUVE, Galileo UVS, and previous analyses of the same HUT spectrum by Moos et al. (1991) and Hall et al. (1994).
