We are carrying out a set of N-body simulations to study the accretion of satellites by disk galaxies with the aim of determining their sinking and disruption times. Satellites are modelled by a King profile and, in some cases, dark matter and internal rotation is considered. They are placed on prograde or retrograde orbits of different eccentricities and inclinations with respect to the disc plane. We will discuss the properties of the satellite remnants and their implications in the evolution of the parent galaxy.
