Scientific paper

Positions of Saturn obtained with the San Fernando and Paris astrolabes
in the years 1970-1978 are compared with JPL DE200. The average standard
deviations of the observations are ±0.040s in right ascension and
0.43" in declination. A systematic effect in the observations in
declination is discussed.
