Aperture synthesis observations of the north-east region of the Andromeda Nebula (M31) have been made in the neutral hydrogen line using the Cambridge Half-Mile Telescope, with a synthesized beam of 0.8 x 1.2 arcmin and a resolution in radial velocity of 16 km/s. Maps of integrated hydrogen emission are presented, and the H I distribution is compared with that of optical emission, OB associations, H II regions and CO detections. This survey complements a study of H I in the south-west region of the nebula; together they provide a complete picture of the neutral hydrogen emission within 20 kpc of the nucleus of M31.
