The analytical luminosity curve of a meteor is calculated for the
quasicontinuous ejection of particles of uniform initial mass from the
surface of the meteor. Combinations of the physical parameters for
meteors are obtained whose values may be determined by comparing the
model considered with observed meteor luminosity curves.
