Stereoscopic observations of 50-100 keV solar X-rays, made with two
spacecraft in heliocentric orbit, have been used to measure the
directivity of impulsive solar X-ray bursts. The observations are
consistent with an essentially isotropic emission of 50-100 keV X-rays
over observation angles between 13 and 79 deg.
