We present a recent progress on the numerical study of the long-term evolution of stellar self-gravitating systems, focusing on the connection with non-extensive statistics. In particular, we discuss the quasi-equilibrium behaviors found in the previous N-body simulations. Using the Fokker-Planck equation, we show that the quasi-equilibrium behaviors can be described by a simplified treatment of the stellar dynamics.
