High resolution two-dimensional maps of the sun at 408 MHz are obtained
by means of aperture synthesis technique, using the Italian Cross
Radiotelescope. Once the instrumental effects are removed, structures
such as coronal holes and active regions are clearly visible and show a
good correspondence with optical data.
