Two subgroups - chain-like, elomgated groups, and semi-spherical groups are separated from Hickson Compact groups of Galaxies (HCGs) and Shakhbazian Compact Galaxy Groups (SCGGs). The comparison of some parameters of both subgroups show that Compact Galaxy groups are real physical entities, that galaxies in chain- like groups are moving in very elongated orbits, and hence processes of ionteraction and merging are more effcicient in groups of this subgroup. It follows then that the life-times of chain-like groups are shorter than that of semi-spherical ones.
