One of the important results of the IAR HI Southern Sky Survey (HISSS) is the mapping of the HI connected to each of the components of the Magellanic Complex, i.e., the Clouds themselves, the Bridge, the Halo and the Magellanic Stream (MS). The obtained maps allow us to study the distribution, velocity field and velocity dispersion of the gas in the mentioned features in order to derive conclusions about their extension, kinematics and dynamics. The main advantages of the use of this Survey for these purposes are based on its large scale coverage and on its uniform high velocity resolution (1 km/s) and high sensitivity (rms=0.07 K).
