In order to study the circumstellar structure of young stellar objects (YSOs), we have developed a model to fit the spectral distribution of energy (SED) by reproducing the infrared excess observed in these objects. Our goal is to estimate the contribution of a disc and/or a dust envelope in the total emitted flux. The quality of the SED's fit is verified by means of chi^2 tests. The components of the assumed stellar system are the central star surrounded by a geometrically thin and optically thick disc, both embedded in a spherical thin envelope. We consider the black-body emission of these three components. Different temperature laws are assumed for the disc (Td ~ r^-0.75) and for the envelope (Te ~ r^-0.4). In this work we present the parameters effective temperature, stellar radiu s, optical depth, and disc and/or envelope radius obtained in the SED's fit of several embedded YSO among Herbig Ae/Be stars and Class I T Tauri stars. By comparing the circumstellar contribution in the total luminosity for all YSOs of our sample, we conclude that Ld + Le > 0.8 Ltot and that the contribution of the spherical envelope is higher than the disc emission.
