An 11 m radio telescope was utilized in the considered observations. A description is given of the equipment and the observational technique used. A map is presented of HCO(+), N2H(+), and SO2 emission spectra in the direction of the center region of the Orion Nebula molecular cloud. Possible interpretations of an observed intensity anticorrelation are discussed, giving attention to a test of the ion-molecule scheme and an upper limit to the abundance of water.
