A search was made for aligned pairs of radio sources around 48 nearby spiral galaxies. A slight excess over expected chance pairings was found. An outstanding pair was discovered near NGC 4258, a galaxy with radio spiral arms. It is proposed that both the radio source pair and the radio spiral arms arise from a symmetric ejection of supermassive objects from the nucleus of the galaxy about 75 million years ago.
