The galactic radial distribution of several parameters of interstellar molecules and clouds deduced from observational data is described. The radial distribution of the physical properties of the (C-13)O clouds are not in one-to-one correspondence with the 21 cm H I arms identified by Cohen (1980). Large-mass clouds and hot clouds show no clear tendency toward concentrating in the arms. Small clouds show a gapless distribution. The arm and interarm regions have the same mass spectrum, hence the same growth rate and cloud lifetime.
