This book is based upon the materials of the All-Russian conference Ultraviolet Universe 2008 (Moscow, May 2008). The reviews on state-of-art in different fields of astrophysics and planetology by means of methods and facilities of UV observations are presented. A special attention is paid at studies that can be carried out with the help of the WSO-UV space observatory. We expect these materials to be the basis for the national observational program for this observatory.
