Scientific paper
Papers are presented reporting developments in two types of astronomical observations: the observation of star transit times and the photographic observation of satellite positions for geodetic studies. Some of the topics covered include: some results in recording mean moments of star transits, accuracy of photoelectric recording of star transit moments, a study of the effect of distortion of the emulsion layer of photographic film on the accuracy of satellite coordinates determined through photographs made on this film, and a program for automatic reduction of photographic satellite observations. Individual items are announced in this issue.
