An X-ray structural study was made of a lunar spinel sample from the Sea
of Fertility. The chemical composition and distribution of cations in
the structure were characterized. Interpretation of the experimental
data by the least squares method yielded the oxygen parameter u = 0.261
and the isotropic temperature factor 1.09 AU squared.
