The principal phenomenology of microcraters resulting from hypervelocity
impacts of interplanetary particles on lunar rock surfaces is outlined.
Investigations are reported in the fields of crater statistics,
laboratory cratering experiments, solar flare track exposure ages,
calculations of interplanetary dust fluxes, and erosion processes.
