It is shown that the neutrino events associated with SN 1987A are characterized by the first energetic (Eν ≡ 25 MeV) electron-capture νe pulse with quite a high source neutrino flux [Lν,e ≅ (1 - 2)×1053erg], and by the subsequent thermal pair neutrinos with a modest average energy >Eν< ≅ 7 MeV and also with a reasonable source neutrino flux Lν ≅ 3×1053erg. Some significant constraints on particle physics are also derived.
