Study of the possibility of chemical or collisional cascade maser pumping in certain lines of the H2O rotational spectrum other than the 1.35-cm line. For this purpose, a method proposed by Strel'nitskii (1971) is employed, in which the unsaturated relative population inversion is determined for each investigated transition. Out of 27 rotational transitions investigated the possibility of population inversion in 18 transitions ranging in wavelength from 150 to 1650 microns is demonstrated.
