Eight impulsive hard X-ray bursts observed by the TD-1A satellite are completely decomposed into individual elementary flare bursts (EFBs) with no significant signal remaining. The total FWHMs of the flare profiles are determined along with the widths at half the maximum intensity of the ascending and descending branches, and the intrinsic and extrinsic mean errors. The ascending- and descending-branch half-widths are compared, the dependence of half-width on photon energy is examined, and possible systematic variations of the half-widths during a flare are investigated.
