This proper-motion star (Gr 469) has a predicted absolute visual magnitude of +11.4 and the high tangential velocity of 263 km/s. It shows both hydrogen and helium absorption lines well-represented by a field of 8 megagauss. The temperature is 16,000 K, and the radius normal. The resolved H-beta Zeeman components are abnormally sharp; a not completely explained feature exists at 5050 A. It is suggested that about half the known degenerates with resolved Zeeman components have both hydrogen and helium in their atmospheres.
